Will work in a multicultural team of Senior Mechanical Technicians and will carry out fault investigations, defect and preventative maintenance, together with modifications on a range of plant.
The position holder should have a detailed understanding and practical experience of the maintenance of modern combined cycle gas turbine plant, desalination plant and a wide range of auxiliary equipment. |
| Knowledge and Skills |
Good engineering foundation and practical knowledge of modern gas turbine and desalination plant maintenance
A good understanding of the skills required by Technicians to undertake quality maintenance activities.
Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems, safety rules and associated legislation
Organising spares, tools and equipment to carry out maintenance activities
Ability to carry out duties with minimum supervision.
Ability to perform fault diagnosis, work planning and management
Practical knowledge of plant isolations from the system
Good command of the English language
Knowledge of a computerised maintenance management tool like Maximo
